Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers (Land O' Lakes, FL), 71-2 in a non-league contest.

The Mustangs (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Cobras go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hudson was trounced by Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 63-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Archers battle the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Angeline Academy of Innovation will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL).
