The Veritas School Lions basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Isle of Wight Academy Chargers to 23 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Miller School of Albemarle for a non-league game on Monday, December 1.

The Chargers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA). The Kavaliers enter the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Kenston Forest was overwhelmed by New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA), 32-31, in a non-league outing.
