Indiana High School Basketball - Northeastern triumphant over Union City

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) and the host Union City Indians (Union City, IN), observed Northeastern's basketball team overwhelm Union City by a score of 78-22.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Monroe Central smashed Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN), 55-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Indians battle the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 22. Union City will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Starfires come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 41-40 non-league loss to Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN).
