The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles to 15 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gryphons now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont Community Charter for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test on Tuesday, December 2.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors come into the Western Piedmont test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Community Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC), 64-12, in a league test.
