The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL) and the visiting Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), observed Shoals Christian's basketball team overcome Tharptown by a margin of 37-29.

The Flame (2-2) will now prepare for their match against West Limestone (Lester, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, West Limestone lost by Clements (Athens, AL), 55-34, in a non-league match.

The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tremont for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Tharptown will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 62-35 non-league win over Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
