North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 51-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Gaston upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 23. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Bessemer City lost 57-43 in their recent non-league bout against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

Next up, the Ironmen play the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 1. Cherryville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
