The Progreso Red Ants basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Macedonian Christian to 32 in the Red Ants non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Red Ants now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Villa for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Progreso will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-0.

The (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Rio Hondo was defeated by La Feria (La Feria, TX), 42-37, in a non-league contest.
