St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA), 73-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Martin's Episcopal upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Saints host French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 23. Pope John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Swamp Owls go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 44-29 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).
