California High School Basketball - El Modena tops Bolsa Grande
November 22, 2023: Garden Grove, CA 92844 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA) and the host Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), saw El Modena's basketball squad knock off Bolsa Grande by a count of 54-42.
With the victory, El Modena upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA) to play the Vaqueros in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 27. The Vaqueros come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Rancho Alamitos won 69-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Whittier Christian (La Habra, CA)
Next up, the Matadors play the Savanna Rebels (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Bolsa Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Valencia (Placentia, CA).
