Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Piggott Mohawks (Piggott, AR), 56-55 in a league match.

With the victory, Corning advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Norwood (Norwood, MO) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Mohawks now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Armorel for a non-league match on Thursday, December 5.
