The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), observed Pieper's basketball team overwhelm New Braunfels by a margin of 55-29.

The Warriors (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds come into the 5A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Wagner trounced Boerne (Boerne, TX), 51-43, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Unicorns battle the Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 26. New Braunfels will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 37-35 non-league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX).
