Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Lake Orion holds off Stoney Creek
November 22, 2024: Lake Orion, MI 48360 In Friday's league contest, the host Lake Orion Dragons ice hockey team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Stoney Creek Cougars.
The Dragons (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Port Huron Northern was nipped by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 8-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars play the Forest Hills Eastern Hawks (Ada, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, November 23. Stoney Creek will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids, MI).
