In Friday's non-league contest, the host Highland Tech Rams basketball team scored a good 51-42 win over the Central Academy Cougars.

The Rams (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record.
