Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) and the host New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN), witnessed La Porte's basketball squad run past New Prairie by a count of 44-26.

With the victory, La Porte advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Slicers travel to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a Duneland challenge on Tuesday, November 25. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Crown Point won 55-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN)

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 2. New Prairie will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.
