Alabama High School Basketball - Sparkman nudges Murrah
In Friday's non-league outing, the Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), by a count of 72-65.
The Senators (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson (Huntsville, AL). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Johnson nipped Madison County (Gurley, AL), 59-56, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Callaway for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 27. Murrah will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 76-69 non-league loss to Forest Hill (Jackson, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 3-4.
