Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) and the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers (Russellville, AL), saw Deshler's basketball squad hold off Russellville by a tally of 71-68.

With the victory, Deshler improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to West Point (Cullman, AL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 29. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. West Point won 64-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Brewer (Somerville, AL)

Next up, the Golden Tigers confront the Florence Falcons (Florence, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 30. Russellville will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
