The Russellville Golden Tigers tipped the visiting Central Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 79-73 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Golden Tigers face the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a 5A Area 15 game, on Friday, January 7. Russellville will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 6-10 record after their 58-50 league win over West Point (Cullman, AL).
