The Brooks Lions basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Central Wildcats to 32 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 3. Brooks will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-43 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-16.

The Wildcats (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Hatton was routed by Falkville (Falkville, AL), 67-39, in a non-league contest.
