The Corinth Holders Pirates basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Union Pines Vikings to 34 in the Pirates non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nash Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. Corinth Holders will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-27 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
