In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals basketball team scored a close 62-60 win over the Western Christian Fighting Lancers.

The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt edged Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA), 85-21, in a non-league contest.
