The DeMotte Christian Knights (DeMotte, IN) basketball edged the visiting Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN), 41-35 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeler for a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. DeMotte Christian will play a Bearcats team coming off a 50-37 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Washington Township falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to play the Fighting 59ers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 26. The Fighting 59ers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Andrean lost 38-25 in their recent non-league bout against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN)
