Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield North holds off DeKalb
November 24, 2023: DeKalb, IL 60115 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) and the host DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), saw Plainfield North's basketball squad hold off DeKalb by a tally of 63-61.
With the victory, Plainfield North improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lake Park (Roselle, IL) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 25. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lake Park won 50-42 in their recent non-league challenge against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)
Next up, the Barbs confront the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 62-54 non-league loss to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).
