November 25, 2023: Roselle, IL 60172 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL), by a count of 53-47.
The Lancers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs go into the DuKane outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Batavia was tipped by Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 47-31, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Oswego for a SouthWest Prairie outing on Tuesday, November 28. Plainfield North will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
