Tennessee High School Basketball - Elizabethton can't hold off Grainger
November 24, 2023: Rutledge, TN 37861 The Grainger Grizzlies basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones to 57 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northview Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Grainger will battle a Cougars team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
The Fighting Cyclones (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
