Illinois High School Basketball - St. Francis overwhelms Prairie Ridge
November 24, 2023: Crystal Lake, IL 60012 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) and the host Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), saw St. Francis's basketball squad wallop Prairie Ridge by a tally of 74-45.
With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Geneva (Geneva, IL) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 25. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Geneva won 58-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Prairie Ridge will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Whip-Purs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 54-51 non-league win over Hononegah (Rockton, IL).
