November 24, 2023: Chicago, IL 60637 The Von Steuben Panthers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds to 34 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foreman for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2.
The Thunderbirds (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Lane Tech prevailed over Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 58-15, in a non-league contest.
