Illinois High School Basketball - Hyde Park overwhelmed by Westinghouse
November 24, 2023: Chicago, IL 60637 The Westinghouse Warriors basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds to 12 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillcrest for a non-league contest on Friday, November 24. Westinghouse will battle a Hawks team coming off a 49-5 non-league win over Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
The Thunderbirds (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Von Steuben (Chicago, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Von Steuben triumphed over Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 29-28, in a non-league contest.
