California High School Basketball - Lakewood nips King/Drew
November 24, 2023: Lakewood, CA 90713 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 50-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lancers travel to Downey (Downey, CA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Downey won 31-30 in their recent non-league bout against Claremont (Claremont, CA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles face the Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 25. King/Drew will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Wolfpack enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 31-30 non-league loss to Downey (Downey, CA).
