December 28, 2023: Irvine, CA 92602 The King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) basketball felled the host Beckman Patriots (Irvine, CA), 43-34 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Sea Hawks go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Redondo Union was beaten by Lakewood (Lakewood, CA), 67-63, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they host San Clemente for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Beckman will encounter a Tritons squad coming off a 54-44 non-league win over Downey (Downey, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 10-6.
