Music Mountain Warriors (Peach Springs, AZ) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 58-54 in a non-league contest.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 1A Central contest with a 5-1 record.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Red Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 66-61 non-league win over Ganado (Ganado, AZ).
