Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Northside Panthers (Houston, TX) and the visiting Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), witnessed Northside's basketball squad run past Sharpstown by a count of 65-53.

With the victory, Northside advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers host Wheatley (Houston, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 4A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, December 2. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 2-0.
