Mississippi High School Basketball - Potts Camp overwhelms Tremont

November 24, 2025: Potts Camp, MS 38659

The Potts Camp Cardinals basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Tremont Eagles to 29 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Delta Streets Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 25. Potts Camp will confront a Lions team coming off a 75-29 non-league loss to Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Tremont drops to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles host Tharptown (Russellville, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 2. The Wildcats enter the outing with a record of 3-3. Tharptown won 39-34 in their recent non-league outing against Cherokee (Cherokee, AL)
