In Monday's non-league test, the Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) basketball team were winner over the host Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), by a tally of 53-41.

The Bobcats now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Gertrudis Academy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. Refugio will play a Lions team coming off a 43-25 non-league win over Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Mathis moves to 3-7 on the season. The Pirates host Ingleside (Ingleside, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Friday, December 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.
