November 24, 2025: Newton, NC 28658 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the host Foard Tigers (Newton, NC), observed St. Stephens's basketball team overwhelm Foard by a score of 50-10.
The Indians (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record.
The Tigers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hibriten for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 2. Foard will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 62-33 non-league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
