St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 50-9 in a non-league contest.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, East Burke was trounced by Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 61-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Draughn will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
