The Kenton Ridge Cougars basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Catholic Central Irish to 54 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jonathan Alder for a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail contest on Friday, December 2.

The Irish (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Indians enter the Ohio Heritage contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Cedarville ran past Emmanuel Christian Academy (Springfield, OH), 68-27, in a non-league contest.
