December 20, 2022: Springfield, OH 45502 Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), 51-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Catholic Central upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Irish host Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Benjamin Logan lost 65-48 in their recent league bout against Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH)
Next up, the Braves clash with the Graham Local Falcons (St. Paris, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 39-37 non-league win over West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH).
