Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet West winner over Thornwood
November 25, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 The Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) basketball felled the visiting Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 62-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Joliet Central thwarted Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 63-60, in a non-league test.
The Thunderbirds now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Simeon for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Thornwood will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 60-43 non-league loss to Rock Creek Christian Academy White (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.
