Illinois High School Basketball - Curie crushes Joliet West
January 21, 2024: Chicago, IL 60632 Curie Condors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 86-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Curie upgrades its record to 21-1 on the season. The Condors travel to Lindblom (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicago Public - Red South bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Lindblom won 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against Hansberry (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Joliet West will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 57-51 non-league loss to York (Elmhurst, IL).
