Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet West edges Romeoville
February 2, 2024: Joliet, IL 60435 The Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 60-55 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (16-9) will now prepare for their test against Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Indians go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 10-15 record. In their last test, Minooka got by Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL), 44-41, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 17-9 record. They play next when they host Metea Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Romeoville will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 59-55 league win over Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 17-8.
