The Joliet Central Steelmen basketball team (Joliet, IL), was nudged 59-54 in Thursday's league battle with the host Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL)

The Spartans now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plainfield East for a SouthWest Prairie battle on Tuesday, December 12. Romeoville will battle a Bengals team coming off a 68-63 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 3-5.
