The Joliet Central Steelmen basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Romeoville Spartans to 60 in the Steelmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Steelmen now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Tuesday, November 28. Joliet Central will meet a Tigers team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars enter the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Plainfield South was nudged by Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 39-29, in a non-league contest.
