Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) and the host Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), saw Joliet Central's basketball squad hold off Wheaton-Warrenville South by a tally of 50-46.

With the victory, Joliet Central improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Steelmen travel to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL) to confront the Caxys in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Caxys come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Lake Forest Academy won 51-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Wheaton-Warrenville South will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
