In Saturday's non-league outing, the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Okolona Chieftains (Okolona, MS), by a margin of 63-38.

The Whippets (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Yazoo County was trounced by Velma Jackson (Camden, MS), 63-61, in a non-league outing.
