The Okolona Chieftains basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host West Point Green Wave to 57 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Saturday.

The Chieftains now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lowndes for a 1A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Green Wave (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Ripley was defeated by Shannon (Shannon, MS), 83-57, in a league contest.
