December 18, 2023: Aberdeen, MS 39730 In Monday's non-league outing, the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS), by a margin of 72-36.
The Green Wave (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors go into the 5A Region 1 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Corinth smashed Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 71-53, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Choctaw County for a 3A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, December 19. Aberdeen will meet a Chargers team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Louisville (Louisville, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 8-2.
