Texas High School Basketball - McAllen Memorial crushes San Benito
November 25, 2023: McAllen, TX 78501 McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX), 60-19 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, McAllen Memorial upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hanna (Brownsville, TX) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. San Benito will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 83-37 non-league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX).
