The Maplewood Rockets basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams to 42 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rockets now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Badger for a Northeastern - Stars game on Monday, December 2. Maplewood will confront a Braves team coming off a 65-23 non-league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, OH). The Braves record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Mineral Ridge falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Struthers (Struthers, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Wednesday, November 27. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-0.
