The Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) basketball edged the visiting Girard Indians (Girard, OH), 60-55 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Rams now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to McDonald for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Friday, December 6. Mineral Ridge will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 54-14 non-league win over Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Girard falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 7.
