Ohio High School Basketball - Mineral Ridge holds off Western Reserve

The Mineral Ridge Rams basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Western Reserve Blue Devils to 50 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson-Milton for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet game on Monday, January 13. Mineral Ridge will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 68-56 league loss to Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Western Reserve falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Springfield (New Middletown, OH) to confront the Tigers in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet game on Monday, January 13. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-7. Springfield won 41-32 in their recent non-league game against Salem (Salem, OH)
